Stamp Duty
In Pakistan, stamp duty is typically paid by the purchaser of the property. Stamp duty is usually calculated as a percentage of the property's value. The exact percentage varies by province and may differ for urban and rural areas. Each province in Pakistan has its own schedule of stamp duty rates. These rates are typically provided in the relevant Stamp Act or legislation governing stamp duty in that province.
